PRIVATE DINING FAQ RUFFINO'S ON THE RIVER

There are a variety of pre-set banquet menus that we offer and require for luncheon events and groups larger than 12 persons from which to select. Each menu is priced per person, and options range from $25 to $78 per guest. Menus entail a two to five course meal. Tea, coffee, and water are included in our pre-set menu prices, and all alcohol is charged on a by consumption basis. All of our private dining rooms are presentation accessible with audio visual equipment readily available.

Do you require a deposit to reserve a private dining room?

A valid credit card number is required to secure ALL reservations in a private dining room. The credit card number must be received upon booking your event. No charges are applied to the card except in the event of a cancellation. If cancellation occurs within 14 days of the scheduled date, the cancellation fee of $200.00 is non-refundable and non-transferable.

If you book within a 14-day period, any cancellation before the event will result in a $200.00 cancellation fee.
What is the minimum and maximum number of guests that each room can accommodate?
Our private dining room has a minimum requirement and maximum capacity. The minimum requirement must be met in order to book the function. Room minimums and maximums are as follows:

Camellia Room: Minimum of 10, Maximum of 22, Maximum of 20 with A/V Equipment

Solarium Room: Minimum of 30 in whole room, Maximum of 56 in whole room with a 6 top head table at the focal point of the room.

Is there a room rental fee?
The room rental fee only applies when the minimum number of attendees for a given room is not met. This fee will be applied to the final bill the evening of the event. Room rental fees are as follows:

Camellia: $200- fewer than 20 guests

Full Solarium: $300- fewer than 40 guests

Half Solarium: $250- fewer than 20 guests
(Available Monday-Thursday nights for dinner service and Monday-Saturday for luncheons)
What room will my party be placed in?
What are the menu options and prices for each of the private dining rooms?

The regular a la carte menu is available for private parties of 15 guests or fewer. Any party 16 or more must select one of the pre-set private dining menus.

**All menu selections are needed no later than 10 days prior to your scheduled event
**Four course meal is the ONLY menu offered on Fridays, Saturdays, and the entire month of December
What are the bar/liquor options?
Liquor is charged by consumption. We offer:

Open Bar (wine, beer, and mixed drinks)

o Three tiers of Open Bar available

Beer and Wine Only

Cash Bar (Guests pay for their own drinks)

A bar can be built in the room itself if requested. A $100 bartender fee will apply.
Can a private party have seperate checks?
Does Ruffino's supply A.V. Equipment?

We have limited in-house audio-visual equipment available for an additional fee. If you need A/V equipment, the order must be placed 48 hours in advance. The A/V charge will be added to your final bill on the night of your event. Third party A/V is allowed with a 48-hour notice.

Camellia room:

Screen: $75

Projector: $100

Solarium:

TV w/ HDMI and USB capability: $100

Mic and Speakers: $100

* Please note we do not offer any podiums for any events at our location, and there is no outside AV equipment allowed for the Camellia room

What additional charges will I see on my bill?
When will I be able to access my room?

Room access is generally available as follows:
• Luncheons: 10:00am the day of the luncheon
• Dinner Events: 2 hours prior to the start time the day of the event

**We will be happy to make other arrangements if the room is available at a time more convenient for you
Are decorations allowed?

Decorations must not be attached to the building in any way. Masking tape, sparklers of any kind, open flame candles, confetti, glitter, silly string, loose feathers, fog machines, and any other items that may impact service are not allowed in the restaurant. Balloon arches and backdrops are not permitted in the Camellia Room.

Ruffino’s reserves the right to refuse any décor item harmful to the property, its assets and contents, or its employees. A $250 cleaning/removal fee resulting from the use of banned décor items will be the client’s responsibility.
How long is the room reserved for?

The Room rental is for a 3-hour dinner service. You may occupy the private dining room until one hour past regular restaurant closing time on weekdays, and until regular restaurant closing time on weekends. You will be charged a $100.00 room fee for every additional half-hour that your party occupies the dining space past regular restaurant closing time. Luncheon groups may occupy the dining space until 3pm and are afterwards subject to the same $100.00 room fee.
